Fire

Lithe and graceful
Flames burn a smoulder
Fire is a fierce dance
One minute it's tranquil
One minute it's erratic
The fire is radiant
The fire is beautiful
But how can something so beautiful
Be so dangerous
A killer sitting peacefully still
Smoking and burning
Waiting to be put out

Why

To every question as an answer
And to every question there is a "why?"
There is a curiosity in each question mark
And a sense of bliss for every ignorance
Why, why, why
Well, I don't know

Free spirited and playful
loving and loyal and cute
My dog is my best friend
and I love hime like family

Life Goes On

The days fly by like the view out of a car window
and life twines around us as we watch it
twisting and turning, spinning a whirling
constantly waiting for something, though
We're not quite sure what it is we're waiting for

Inevitable

What if tomorrow never came?
Its impossible, but true
that every week, day, month is the same
never confusing or new

Spring

The flowers awake as the sun shines hello
The trees are Blooming and Blossoming
The grass is alive with a vibrant green glow
there's a smell in the air that can only mean spring

The Sky

As blue as a fresh robins egg

Swirling clouds like puffs in the air

The sun bright as it shines down 

Children flying kites

Playing and laughing as the sun goes down

As the sky turns to a warm orange glow

And the day turns to night

As the stars come out 

And the world is sleeping

The sky takes a rest
and the word is pitch black
