Flames burn a smoulder

What does it mean
to be blissfuly happy,
it means laughing
laughing until your stomach aches

it means running and jumping
and screaming out loud,
It means white knuckled roller coaster rides

a Thousand Wishes

If I had a thousand wishes all to myself, 
I'd wish to be as tall as the tallest tree,
so I could reach the highest snowflakes with my outstretched hand.
I'd wish to be as quiet as a mouse,
so I could listen to the purest silence without hearing a breath.
I'd wish to be as smart as an owl,
so I could ponder every thought for days and weeks and months.
I'd wish to slow down time,
so I could cherish every single second.
And I'd wish for things that are just out of reach
so I could know what it's like to reach them.
But most of all, I'd wish for peace,
a break from the violence,
an escape from the hurt,
so that when I'd wish to give others a chance,
to have a thousand wishes like me,
they would wish for the same.

Welcome to My Blog :)

My blog is called "Emma's Awesome Blog" for two reasons. The first reason being that I am Emma, therefore this is my blog. :) But I didn't just call it "Emma's blog". No, I called it "Emma's 'Awesome' blog". This brings us to the second reason, I wan't this blog to be awesome :) What better way to make something awesome than to call it awesome? Wishful thinking, I know.

You may be wondering why everything here is so... pink. Well, this is because pink is my FAVOURITE colour. I feel like the more pink I can bring to this world, weather it be fuchsia, magenta  or even puce, will make life a little better.... okay I think you get the point :P. 

But seriously, I love the colour pink and I like sharing it with people so I made it the main colour of my blog.

I plan to write poetry of all variety's on this blog. I mean how can you pick just one theme? Plus I can NEVER make up my mind, so what better way to express that than variety?

Well I hope this introduction helped a little, and I look forward to posting on this AWSOME blog.
